We lost classmate Steve Dyer in early May 2006.  Following what initially appeared to be a minor accident when Steve was riding his motorcycle up to the Big Bear area, he was hospitalized a number of hours later with internal bleeding and passed away.  His friends held a memorial service for him in El Monte.
