Two daughters - Marisa, 22 just graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. She was a double major in Political Science and Chinese. She has been accepted to Law School at Washington Univ. in St Louis. She is going to take a year off before starting Law school.
Britt, 19 will be a junior at Amherst College in Amherst, MA. She really is enjoying it - she is a double major in Computer Science and Religion (focus in Buddhism). She currently has an internship at Yahoo! In the fall she will be studying abroad in India. |

Got out of high school - went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and got a BS in Math. Worked fro architects, engineers and contractors drawing plans and details. Started drawing by hand and then moved on to AutoCAD. Travelled a lot - rode my bicycle 4000 miles thru Europe in 1982. That was an amazing experience. Saw many out of the way places and met a lot of local people.
Got married in 1985, had two daughters and stayed home raising them. Coached soccer for 10 years and coached academic teams. Got divorced in 2007 and moved to Texas.
When I first moved to Boerne I was doing AutoCAD again for a Contracting firm here in Boerne. They did structural steel for commercial buildings. I lost that job in 2009 because they went out of business. Things not being great for building, I retrained for a new career and am now a Physical Therapy Tech. I am in a new place, making new friends and am enjoying starting a new life. |
