After almost 6 years of commuting from Salt Lake City, UT to Los Angeles and Nashville, TN - finally made the move to Tennessee. Patty and I made the move with our two youngest children, Allison and Ian. We are living about 40 minutes south of Nashville. I am working for a Printing/Packaging company headquartered out of Los Angeles where we put a plant location in Tennessee. Multi-media is our nitch where we provide DVD packaging for most of the large movie houses on the west coast. Fox, Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount, Disney to name a few. The purchasing is done on the west coast but the DVD replicating for most of these movie house are in the south and mid-west. Hence, why I am in Tennessee. Manufacturing and especially the shippjng costs are much cheaper here in Tennessee. I have been in the printing business for over 26 years now and have focused my attentions to Quality Management for the last 19 years. It has been very challenging but I love it because it is never boring. There is always something going on to keep me on my toes. |
